Alongside the oft-praised Fuji 35 F1.4 “Classic” from 2012, my favorite lens, especially for these night crawls, is the cheap Chinese TTArtisan 50 F1.2. This shot was taken at 1/4 second ISO 3200. It’s a manual lens with no electronic connections so the aperture setting is lost in the mist of my fogged brain at 10 PM after walking through high humidity 30°C. Probably 5.6. It’s 75ffe so medium telephoto, which helps with the no bowing. 4 or 5 starbursts are obviously an effect of the lens and the lack of flaring probably comes from my having underexposed the shot by a stop or two then bringing the shadows back in LR. I rested the camera on the gate at Taopoon Station to eliminate shake. I think if I use a Fujinon lens, the camera reads and corrects for the kind of distortion you notice lacking here; with non-communicating manual lenses the camera has no idea what’s what. LR has both a “straighten” function which simply adjusts for the horizontal and a “transform” function which much more radically alters lines and volumes to remove distortion. I used “straighten” and the adjustment was almost nil (thanks to the gate) but almost never use “transform” and didn’t here. It’s all the lens. $100Cdn in the present economic environment is like a miracle IMHO.
Smoke and Mirrors 
That’s quite the lens on your camera; no bowing issues (the building edges are perfectly parallel), no flare on the bright lights.
