28mm

Every time I switch from one lens to another I have to take time to get used to them again and again. Generally this has meant changing back and forth between the 23mm f2 and my 35mm f1.4. So far I prefer the FFE nifty-fifty 35 for a variety of reasons, but partly due to the fact that I feel more in control with the FOV of the 35.

But two of my favorite street photographers, Daido Moriyama and Garry Winogrand, famously used 28mm lenses for most of their work and I have begun to think that the wider lens might help making for edgier and more engaging photographs that align more closely to what it is I have in mind for my photos.

We shall see.
