    1. Picture is taken from up on the Silom-Sala Daeng Skywalk, an elevated walkway between a BTS Skytrain station and an MRT subway station that runs along one of the “downtown” streets in Bangkok. There is an outer wall with windows of a gutted building with construction taking place behind it. I fuck around with selective focus a lot these days so I can’t honestly say whether we are looking at reflections or not. I sure like the picture but for its formal abstract qualities regardless of “what it is” in the picture. It frustrates my daughter endlessly whenever we talk about movies or series on Netflix that I never care about spoilers (because plot doesn’t interest me) and can’t be arsed to figure out in advance (or ever) what’s “going on” in “mysteries” like Lost or Inception. I guess I’m just content to wander in a cloud of not-knowing both in life and art?

      1. I have to go back that way on April 1st to submit my passport renewal application at the Canadian Embassy. Now that you get me thinking about it, I am curious. Hope it’s still there for me to take more analytic shots to understand clearly what we are looking at there.
