Thanks Les. I think it might be a function of my advanced age but my learning curve seems depressingly flat to me and I have only recently discovered that photography really is all about the light. Also, as much as I hate to admit it, these shots taken with the X-T1 do seem to have something indefinable that the newer sensor on my X-T20 doesn’t quite have. I more or less hate the fact that so much emphasis is placed on gear, but I have really grown to love the combination of the X-T1 and the FX23 F2, which I only put together because, with the rainy season and all, it is the only weather-sealed combo I own.
