It is obvious to me that I still can’t do exactly what I want to do as a photographer, can’t always ‘see’ what I am looking for, capture what I see or bring that capture to ‘life’ in post-processing.
Here, even though I was in an intensely urban area of Bangkok replete with heavy traffic, immense structures and the concrete behemoth of the overhead LRT line, what I saw was something from the land of fairy tale. Something dark about the trees. Something hopeful about the path. Something light about the woman skipping away from one with the guidance of the other.
